INTO THE BLUE
[Starring: Paul Walker & Jessica Alba]

This is another movie of Jessica Alba that I've seen this year. Although I have yet to see her take in meaty roles, I am a fan of her. This movie, however, I wasn't. The idea of lovers living a simple life in a sandy beach somewhere may sound exciting, but it stops there. The movie lacks excitement, and the story itself wasn't complex and interesting enough to be made into a movie. The two lead actors are eye candy for sure. I will give them that. Halfway through the movie, I find myself paying less and less attention. Over all, if you want to see hot people making out then go see this movie.

FANTASTIC 4
[Starring: Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Ioan Gruffudd, and Michael Chiklis]

This is the latest Marvel comic book series turned into a big budget film. I'm a big fan of Marvel so I was particularly excited about this movie. Unlike X-men (which I was also a big fan of), this movie has a sense of humour and more. I am especially a big fan of Chris Evans' character although sometimes you just want him to shut the hell up, but he's very charming and funny in this movie. The four major characters here are really believable that you almost want them to be real superheroes. The only part that I didn't like about this movie was the evil villain. He's simply too good looking 
, but I can see why they picked him. He plays a dark character well. Also, the director spent only about 15 minutes to show the crash from outerspace and how they got their powers. Maybe we'll know more on the sequel. I don't want to dwell too much on the movie itself coz I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it. One thing's for sure though, you will love this movie. I guarantee it!
MR. & MRS. SMITH
[Starring: Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie]

I'm not a big fan of Angelina Jolie so I wasn't exactly thrilled to watch this movie. I swore I would never watch the movie that broke up Jen (my bestfriend) and Brad (my ex), but like most people, I couldn't resist the temptation. I'm sorry! I vow to resist evil temptations next time (if I can). Back to the business at hand here, Branjelina's escapades are far more enjoyable to watch than the movie itself. I didn't see chemistry between the two but you know what that means: they're actually a couple. I don't know what will become of Branjelina, but I'm more anxious to see their train-wreck-of-an-affair waiting to happen than to watch another minute of this movie. Mind you though I watched it 'til the end. I can't tell you how relieved I was that the movie finally ended. . This movie reminds me of a blockbuster movie "True Lies" except that was actually way better. Even monotonous Arnold pulled it off and had better chemistry with Jamie Lee Curtis than the two hottest couple in the world. How'd that happen? Of course, you can accuse me of being biased. You can always rent the DVD and see it for yourself, but don't say I didn't warn you!
WAR OF THE WORLDS [Starring: Tom Cruise & Dakota Fanning]

This movie is a combination of "The Day After Tommorrow" meets "Independence Day". Those are blockbuster movies so it is only of the norm that someone would think of morphing those two movies into a one big budget film. Hire the highest paid actor in hollywood with a big shot director and voila! So, what went wrong? First of all, I didn't find Tom Cruise's character believable at all. Can someone really see him playing an average joe? I can name a few actors that can play an average joe better like Vince Vaughn, Toby Mcguire, Keanu Reeves, Nicholas Cage, Kurt Russell, etc. Actually the majority of hollywood can except Tom. He'd be at the bottom of my list. The movie in itself was not as bad as "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" so I gave this movie a higher rating. If you're into it's-the-end-of-the-world movies then this is for you. Personally, I could do without it.

1. Which road do you choose to take to your love's house? The roads represent your attitude towards falling in love. If you chose the short one, you fall in love quickly and easily.If you chose the long one, you take your time and do not fall in love easily.
2. What combination of roses do you choose to give your love? The number of red roses represent how much you expect to give in a relationship. The number of white roses represent how much you expect in a relationship. Therefore, if a person chose all red with one white, he/she gives 90% in the relationship but expects to receive only 10% back.3. Do you ask the maid to get your love, or do you do it yourself? This question shows your attitude in handling relationship problems. If you asked the maid to get your loved one, then you may beat around the bush, maybe asking a third party to intervene. Avoidance of problems runs high.If you went and got your loved one yourself, then you are pretty direct. If there is a problem, you confront it and deal with it. You want to work it out right away.4. Where do you put the roses? On the windowsill or on the bed? The placement of the roses indictate how often you'd like to see your boyfriend/girlfriend. Hello everyone! 
I've decided to update my blog again! Isn't that great? I've been away for the last couple months because I wanted to enjoy my time while the weather's still forgiving (ok, that, and I got bored with it!), but now that winter's creeping in I've decided to enter the world of blogging again. I really wanted a more grown-up look for this blog to keep up with the more mature me (snicker), but sad to say, I just couldn't resist being drawn to cute stuff and such. I guess a part of me will always love anime ... How do you guys like this new template? I spent so much time making this one looking so perfect, and I'm still not satisfied! What is wrong with me?

I was watching tv a few days ago and came across a new type of eating disorder. I wouldn't say "new" because it's been going on for years just like anorexia and bulimia. Orthorexia, however, is an eating disorder with a twist because the person is obsessed with eating healthy food. Here's a few questions that'll determine if you do have this problem:
- Are you spending more than three hours a day thinking about healthy food?
- Are you planning tomorrow's menu today?
- Is the virtue you feel about what you eat more important than the pleasure you receive from eating it?
- Has the quality of your life decreased as the quality of your diet increased?
- Have you become stricter with yourself?
- Does your self-esteem get a boost from eating healthy? Do you look down on others who don't eat this way?
- Do you skip foods you once enjoyed in order to eat the "right" foods?
- Does your diet make it difficult for you to eat anywhere but at home, distancing you from friends and family.
- Do you feel guilt or self-loathing when you stray from your diet?
- When you eat the way you're supposed to, do you feel in total control?
*If you answered yes to two or three of these questions, you may have a mild case of orthorexia. Four or more means that you need to relax more when it comes to food. If all these items apply to you, you have become obsessed with food. So where do you go from there? To learn more click here.*
